Honda Cars
Honda Motor Company Limited began being a small business. With the simple goal of improving the transport of the post-war period, was supplying piston rings to Toyota and produced their small engines, which were used for motorcycles.

In 1958 the company reached the U.S. market shortly after it started producing motorcycles with such good quality and power that came to compete with Harley Davidson.
Honda expanded its horizons to produce cars in the ’60s. The pickup T360 and S500 sports cars were the first Honda cars that appeared in 1963. The introduction of the Honda Civic in 1972, bigger than its predecessors, finally captured the interest of the American public.
Honda Accord cars were launched in 1976. Honda paid attention to the American fetish for big cars, and although the Accord is larger than the Civic, kept the fuel efficiency and driving pleasure as the focus on their engineers. Honda opened its plant in Ohio in 1978 and stunned the world when it opened new plants to manufacture Honda cars in the United States, so it becomes the first foreign factory in doing so.
Currently Honda cars are among the most important produced in the United States; their models are sold worldwide and are characterized by their potency and stability on the road.
